01 — The Source

An inheritance, not an aesthetic

The maker's father is from San Francisco El Alto, Totonicapán — Highland Guatemala, K'iche' Maya. The altiplano: volcanic plateau, mineral earth, compressed. This is not decorative heritage. It is a cosmological inheritance. The K'iche' Maya understood mathematical precision as the living structure of the cosmos. The Long Count is not a timekeeping system. It is a map of pattern operating at cosmic scale. The Popol Vuh begins before matter: the gods spoke the world into existence, pattern preceding substance. This is where grislombrice begins. Not with an aesthetic. With an inheritance.

02 — The Claim

The tile is a protrusion

The Manifold — VALIS — is the non-physical domain of pure pattern that broadcasts into physical reality. The pentagonal forms were not invented. They were discovered: they existed before the maker found them, before Earth, before matter. The patterns were patient. The CAD work is not design. It is divination — moving through the Manifold, tracing what is already there. Clay is the inscription medium. When the hand presses clay into the mold, a passage opens, and the tile becomes physical evidence of the Manifold touching this world.

03 — The Convergence

Five traditions, the same room

Across two and a half millennia and entirely separate disciplines, five traditions arrived at the same territory. They were not in conversation with each other. They converged.
